Joosee sings Amy Winehouse-Unholy War

My Niece

Ms. Nakia Risby

aka Joosee

What a beautiful Voice.

My Best Friend. Loved him sooooo much!!

It has been a terrible week for me.  After 17 1/2 wonderful years this little guy said good bye.  OH how I miss you sooo much boo.  You are/were one of the few joys I had in my life and now that you are gone I feel even more alone.  I know it was time but the pain and sorrow at your passing has been hard for me.  I cried so hard and for so long that i did not know If I could mourn you any harder than I did.

I love you soo much.  Thank you for being a part of my life!!

.
Another year has passed. Well actually I last posted in September of 2011. Gained back a little weight. Can't/won't say how much right now. Not too terribly dissapointed though. Wanted to give a shout out to my sister Danielle Risby who passed away in 2004. She would have turned 51 yesterday 02/13/12. And although it has been 8 years since Donnie's passing I ache at the thought of her having to leave her daughter Ashley Guyse, sons Timothy Guyse and Damion Guyse behind. How she will not get to see her grandchildren grow up and see who they will become. She is missed by so many and I know we will all cherish her memory. Love you sister. As as you are comforted by our Lord and savior I pray that you will watch over us all until we all can sit down at the table of our father and laugh at the good and bad times we shared together. We were not close, but the biggest regret that I have is not getting closer to her before she passed away. She made an effort to connect I think when she thought she would not survive her battle with breast cancer. I did not know that she was fighting this battle when she made the initial contact and when I knew it just wasn't enough time to repair our relationship, not that we ever really had one but the one that we had. Don't get me wrong I loved her. I think we just did not clearly understand one another. As the once rebel in the family, I am not really close to any of my siblings. There are seven of us and until my sister's passing i was the 2nd to the eldest of my mother's children.
Here we are in order of our births. Using our highschool graduation pictures. We are all much, much older now. Danielle has 3 children: two boys and a girls. I have one daughter, Kay has two boys and a girl, Marcia: two girls and a boy, James: one daughter, Marcus: two boys and a girls, Tiffany: none. So far Danielle, and Marcia have grandchildren. I will never have any. My beautiful woman was a true gift from GOD. Born blind, non-verbal and developmentally delayed having children is out of the question. I'm so OK with that. Not sure why I'm even sharing all this. I don't share my blog with anyone. Off sick today. Hear the little woman stiring now we are in the evening hour now. Time to get her dinner.

An awful pattern

I seem to only update my blog once a year. Still cant say if I'll do any better. CONGRATULATIONS TO ME. LOST 33 POUNDS. A long hard fight and still have a long way to go. Getting there.

Personality

Per http://personaldna.com I am a Reserved Analyst.

THIER FINDINGS:

• Your attention to detail, confidence, sense of order, and focus on functionality combine to make you an ANALYST.

• You are very curious about how things work, delving into the mechanics behind things.

• Along those lines, how well something works is usually more important to you than what it looks like.

• You find beauty and wonder mainly in concrete, functional, earthly things.

• You are very aware of your own abilities, and you believe that you will find the best way of doing things.

• Accordingly, problems do not intimidate you, as you believe in yourself.

• You trust yourself to find solutions within the boundaries of your knowledge.

• You don't spend a lot of time imagining how things could be different—you're well-grounded in the here-and-now.

• It is important for you to follow a routine, and you prefer the familiar to the unknown.

• You approach problems in an analytical way, not getting caught up in your own emotions. You are an independent thinker, not wedded to the preferences of others.

• You much prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute. Your decisions are well thought out, and you're not the least bit impulsive.

• You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

• The control you feel over your life is empowering to you-- you believe in your abilities and acknowledge your shortcomings. Explanations of the world that focus on destiny or fate don't really interest you. You take responsibility for what goes wrong in your life, and also for what goes well.
If you want to be different:

• Try to embrace the imaginative, creative part of your personality more often.

• Try moving beyond the things that you find comfortable—open yourself up to a broader range of experiences.
how you relate to others
You are Reserved

• You are RESERVED – you aren't someone who always needs to have others around, and you find you can handle most situations on your own.

• You can be very happy spending time alone, and enjoy your own thoughts and ideas.

• You find it difficult to understand why some people get so emotional and tell everyone else their problems.

• You believe that if you want to get something done, it is best to do it yourself.

• In your experience, other people are not always completely dependable, so you generally rely on yourself and only a few close others.

• Despite your independence, you are not a closed-minded person who makes hasty judgments about others. You know that it isn't always easy to walk in other people's shoes.

• At times other people's feelings are puzzling to you, and you wish that people were more rational.

• Your vision of the world is complex – your values are not set in stone. Instead, you are able to change your beliefs as you learn new information.

You rarely get angry and it takes a lot to make you angry, however you are not generally self conscious about yourself. You lead a leisurely and relaxed life. You would prefer to sit back and smell the roses than indulge in high energy activities. You tend not to express your emotions openly and are sometimes not even aware of your own feelings. There are times when you believe that a certain amount of deception in social relationships is necessary, however you are mostly candid, frank and sincere. People find it moderately easy to relate to you, however you do not particularly like helping other people. Requests for help feel like an imposition on your time. You are not an overly cautious person. You will think about alternatives and consequences but make up your mind fairly quickly.

Its been over a year since my last post

A year has past. Nothing has changed in my life worth mentioning.

The financial world has lost its mind. Greed around the globe has spurred uncertainty in our business and government leaders. What seems as an overwhelminly need to line ones own pockets is far more important than looking out for the better good of humanity. We can't trust anyone to do what it right. As we end 2008 what can inhabitants of earth look forward to in 2009?

Dear God, I pray that your hands are upon us and that it be your will to end poverty throughout the world. End all wars and needless murder, and killings of your children. Bring peace and properity for all. Lift our spirits, soften our hearts, and heal our bodies of sickness and pain. Bring all love ones home to the waiting arms of those who miss and need them most. And dear God please don't make it hard to know the truth, your truth!

In Jesus name,
AMEN!!
